Warriors: The Next Beginning: The New Stranger
A gray tom wandered the streets of the town. He looked around, observing the dirty streets, trashed sidewalks, and metal fences of dirty houses. The tall feline was told that this neighborhood was a bad place. Filthy dogs. Mangy, savage stray cats. Aggressive twolegs. "Muffle? What are you doing on-on this side of town?" A plump, white tom suddenly asked him. Muffle jumped, startled by the cat. "Oh, Chubby! You scared me for a minute there... I was just, ah... You know... Taking a walk?" He said. Chubby widened his eyes. "But you know the danger here! Y-You shouldn't be here, Muffle. It is a bad, bad place." He stammered. Muffle tilted his head to the side. "Well, Chubby, then why are YOU here, hmm?" "Looking for you! You KNOW we always hang out in my yard on Sunday when the sun is in the middle in the sky!" Chubby snapped angrily.
